FOR MOST OF OUR POPS
Our fruit pops generally have:
- 50-70 calories
- 9-12 total carbs
- 7-11 grams total sugars
- about 4 grams of added sugars
The main source of calories in our fruit pops is the fruit itself. This means fruit with a high calorie/sugar content usually results in a pop with a higher calorie/sugar content. Although sugar in fruit is still sugar, it tends to have a lower glycemic index than added sugars, so some people may consider it to be more healthy if they’re avoiding sugar for certain health conditions. Added sugar in almost all of our fruit pops is four grams.
COFFEE & TEA BASED POPS
Coffee/tea pops have more added sugar, because if we didn’t add it, they’d be hard as ice cubes. The numbers for these fan favorites:
- 100-120 calories
- 14-16 total carbs
- 13-16g total sugars
In these pops, total sugar and added sugar are the same, since coffee and tea don’t contain any sugar until you add it!
